Karen Love, MHA joined Cook Children’s Health Plan (CCHP) in November 2018 as its President and CEO. Ms. Love also serves as Cook Children’s Health Care System’s senior executive for population health. CCHP serves 140,000 Members in the Medicaid and CHIP Programs in a six-county area around Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to joining CCHP, Karen served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Community Health Choice, a Medicaid and Health Insurance Marketplace managed care organization serving over 400,000 Members in Greater Houston.

Ms. Love holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin and a master’s degree in Health Administration from Tulane University, New Orleans.
