Acadian Ambulance Service was founded in 1971 and is the nation's largest employee-owned ambulance service. We serve a population of more than 25 million people across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Acadian provides emergency, non-emergency and specialized patient ground and air transportation services. We are one of the few agencies in the nation to hold accreditations by both the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
